slightly OT----my sistas understand me
i am not taking the time right now to respond to those of you who have written either on the board or otherwise- please know that each of your comments are valued and appreciated and yes, janet i DID try.and i love ya for your thoughts!..as a handsome whiskered singer once said ya gotta know when to hold em ; know when to fold em; know when to walk away.......and that's what i am doing. i hope to get my papers filed tomorrow and there is a 60 day wait til finalization in michigan when no children are involved.
i am safe .....and if that changes he is outta here-- may be today may be tonite ....
my family and my sistas understand that my conscience has a hard time with that commitment part --and they understand that i am taking control of my own life...damn it's hard to keep those big girl panties in place at all times! he marvelled last nite at what a "strong...iron...woman " i am ...i take that as a compliment-strong pioneer stock i am!!!
it's not easy and i am NOT having fun --i am going to come out on top!
and i love all ya'all for your words and hugs......
btw- brody, roxie AND my mom's dogs are hovered around at all times to protect me-

You are brave and strong. You betcha we are all behind you in every way.
Surprisingly, some best words of advice came from my X while we were in the midst of yet another arguement. He said " Figure out if you would be happier with me or without me". A short time later I told him to pack and leave.
It was a hard but excellent decision and I have been happier since then. It just takes time to readjust.
